Under the leadership of our out-going Chief Executive, Sir Andrew Cash OBE, we have developed our profile, reputation and services and we now fulfil a pivotal regional role.  This is not just as a system leader in health and care, but working particularly closely with the city’s two Universities, we seek to support our elected representatives across many aspects of the life and prosperity of our City Region. 

The Board are now seeking an exceptional healthcare leader with the experience, acuity and personal credibility appropriate to this complex clinically-led organisation as it develops within a changing local, regional and national context.  With significant and successful leadership experience at a very senior level, you will bring communication skills that ensure you engage effectively across all areas of our clinical and non-clinical workforce, regionally with partners, and in national forums.   We are a values-led organisation and our PROUD values support us in all our work.  To succeed in this role you will require an impressive track record of delivering clinical and operational outcomes through a values-centred approach. 

This role presents a significant leadership opportunity as it combines the primary role of accountable officer with that of system leader and civic leader.
